Tip later on Custom Makeover at Sephora?
Quick question! For Christmas, my fMIL gave me a $50 Sephora gift carte du jour, and scheduled a makeover. We are going this afternoon, and I simply realized that I have no idea what the "rules" Are. Do I need to use the unabridged $50 today, or can I just use part of it since she already spent the $50 on the card in the beginning place? Practice I tip the MUA like I would a hairstylist? Any other tips? Thanks!

From what I remember reading around hither you lot tin can't tip the MUA, because Sephora policy and all. But what you lot tin practise though is comment on the online survey who they are and what they did, etc things so they get brownie points or something at their store.

I work at Sephora and this is exactly right. The policy does not allow u.s. to accept tips, only if you liked your makeup and had a expert experience with your MUA, please do the survey! It actually helps :)

I got the same gift card, and the Sephora website said y'all had to spend the whole $fifty at the aforementioned fourth dimension equally the makeover. "In order to redeem for a custom makeover, the total $l value of The Beauty Studio Gift Card must be redeemed for merchandise at the fourth dimension of the Custom Makeover service. If the Gift Carte is not present, or has been redeemed prior to the time of your scheduled makeover, you will need to use another course of payment for the $50 minimum purchase to receive the complementary Custom Makeover." The mall was crazy when I went, and I couldn't await to spend the whole thing and only leave the mall. Oops.

You tin't tip and y'all don't need to spend a dime. I get free makeovers with VIBR and I just go in to accept my makeup washed now and again, when I want some communication on something new to try. I don't necessarily buy anything after.
Tip: Do non allow a girl whose makeup looks bad do your makeover. Not everyone working at Sephora is good at makeup.

Isn't it only Rouge who qualify for the free makeovers? Not BI or VIB

If y'all are VIBR, do you all the same have to spend $50 to get the makeover? How does that work?

Y'all do need to spend it all. I'm not 100% sure if the custom makeover packets allow you to simply spend it whenever though... I woul just call and ask. If you do have to spend it all yous tin can spend it on Whatsoever yous want though. I mean I you like stuff they use you can buy it, but don't feel pressured to buy that if you'd rather accept other things.

Sephora gets no money in sales for selling the gift card, only for actual product purchased, so the $50 she spent on you isnt actually annihilation to Sephora until its actual product.
