Karma Ditches Neverstop Unlimited Data Service for 'Pulse'

Heads up, Karma customers: More changes are coming.

The visitor is pulling its Neverstop unlimited data service. Current Neverstop customers can keep their service until the cease of their billing cycle, but Karma is no longer accepting new signups or renewals, the company said. Instead, Karma is now offer a new service, dubbed Pulse.

For the uninitiated, Neverstop offered all-you-could-eat information for the Karma Go mobile LTE hotspot, with a 5Mbps speed cap and a limit of three device connections. Just Karma last month tweaked the plan, heavily throttling users who exceeded 15GB in a month in an effort to prevent people from using the hotspot as their primary Internet connectedness.

"The whole point of Neverstop was that yous should never have to worry about your information usage," the company wrote in a web log post Thursday. "Since we announced changes to Neverstop, this hasn't been the instance. Over the past month we've been listening to your frustrations in our support channels and on social media, and you're right to be upset."

So, now the company is ditching Neverstop in favor of its new Pulse subscription service, which offers support for up to eight device connections, speeds upwards to 25Mbps, and "no throttling, e'er."

"We don't like throttling, and are thrilled to throw it out the window," Karma said.

With Pulse, you tin can pick an option that works best for you: 5GB for $forty per month, 10GB for $75 a month, or 20GB for $140 a month. You can also add together data for $15 per 1GB, and upgrade or downgrade at any time. If you lot add extra information and don't use it all, you'll be refunded the deviation.

Current Neverstop customers can pre-select a Pulse program, which volition brainstorm when your next billing cycle ends.
