How to locate the EXACT location of an End Portal?

Hey, so I have been having trouble lately locating an End Portal. I found a Stronghold no problem, but finding the End Portal has been an issue. I explored the whole place and I still can't find it. Is it possible to find the EXACT coordinates of the portal, or anything? I am on a server so I can't use Spectator or Creative or anything.

Go to the surface, stand on something tall and throw some Ender eyes, you should be close enough that they fall to the ground directly above the portal. Do it from a few different places to confirm they always converge on the same aquare then record the coordinates.

Their mechanic changes when you are close to the portal, so test it out and practice in a creative mode game if you're short of eyes in the server.

Thats... More or less right Minecaft stronholds are generated when you load them for the first time(OMG! I CAN'T BELIVE IT) so before that, ender eyes point to the stairs in the stronghold. When you relog, minecraft says: hey! The portal is not there! And it starts pointing to the real portal. (That is because minecraft only knows by default the coords of the stairs, because its the first room generated)

Use the vanilla-xray glitch: -Graphics in fast -place a minecart and leaves over it, so when you enter the minecart your head remains on the leaves

Actually tried this before I posted. Still nothing. And my friend told me it was there, so either he's messing with me, or I just couldn't see it. Thanks anyway!

As anyone else found the End Portal? I know that sometimes strongholds might not contain a portal on servers due to strange chunk loading.

So far as I know it usually it only happens with pre-1.7 maps (because there was a seed shuffle at the start of 1.7 so unexplored terrain now generates based on a different world).

I've never found a stronghold without an End portal. If you're playing single player and can't seem to find it, just use /gamemode 3.

Were you using Eyes of Ender at all?

Sometimes the portal room isn't connected to the rest of the stornghold. This might be one of those times.

Create a big open room within the stronghold so you can throw an enderpearl and watch which direction it goes. Since it isn't connected to the rest, you'll have to dig through the walls in whichever direction it goes.

Strongholds aren't always one single connected set of passageways, the portal room might be in an area unconnected to the part that you've found. A couple of times, I've seen the portal room just sat on the sea bed, and not connected to anything else in the stronghold.
